Terms & Conditions
No Refunds or Returns on Sample Sale Gowns
All gowns remain the property or Rue de Seine until paid for in full. Orders require 100% payment on order date. We use a secure payment gateway and your credit card details are not saved on file or accessible by us.
A shipping fee will be applied to your order according to the items you select. This shipping fee covers processing and handling, a Rue de Seine garment bag, and secure shipping to your location.
Depending on the destination, orders may incur a custom or import duty charge and is a separate cost not included in the shipping fee. Rue De Seine does not have control over these charges and are unable to quote customs fees, as it is based on your own country’s regulations & compliances. For further information, please contact your local customs office. All charges are to be paid by the customer on delivery of order. If you do not accept to pay these charges initially, your parcel may be abandoned or returned to sender.
Lead times quoted are estimates only. Delivery times are approximate and do depend on customs processes and entry into your country. We are not responsible for any customs or transit delays that may incur on arrival into your country.
Current processing times are 2 - 3 weeks delivery from the order date.

We cannot discount gowns further than the original quoted discount price. The discount price is based on the condition of the gown.
Your gown has previously been one of the following samples – Press / Boutique / Production / Trunk Show.
Your gown has been lightly worn and will NOT be as brand new. All sample have been reviewed by our in-house team in Auckland and have been discounted according to their condition.
Please expect that there may be some very minor imperfections to your sample gown; these may include slight pulling of threads on the outer or lining, slight difference in colour to the original, light marks or stains, or the size may not be 100% true to original (due to the gown being tried on).
You must accept both the contract document and the Terms & Conditions document to complete your order.

Gown and Sizing
All sales are final – gowns and accessories sold as is.
Your purchased gown or accessory is a previous sample made to our standard UK sizing range.
Sample gowns and accessories are previous boutique, press, trunk or production samples that may contain slight imperfections. Any flaws are outlined in the description and/or imagery provided. Due to the volume of items available, imagery may not be available for every item. Please see the product description and/or photos for more information regarding the condition of the product.
As your gown or accessory was a previous sample, it may not be true to the exact original size.
Billing
Full payment is taken upon ordering and is non-refundable.
Refunds/Order Cancellations
We do not accept cancellations once payment has been made, nor do we offer exchanges for other items or sizes.
The Perfect Bridal Fit
As our gowns are made using our standard sizing system (as per provided size chart). Our gowns are not made to measure, so you may require alterations once you receive your gown, depending on your desired fit.
Any alterations are not included in the price and are not carried out by us, but by your preferred seamstress/tailor, at your cost.
Gown Care Notes
Your gown is made from delicate laces and linings and requires cleaning and care by a professional drycleaner. Please find a care label sewn in to the inside lining of your skirt, please be sure to show this to your drycleaner for detailed cleaning instructions. If your gown does not include a care label, please email our customer care team for a digital copy to provide your drycleaner. Rue de Seine is not responsible for any damage as a result of drycleaning or cleaning sample gowns.
Rue de Seine will provide you with a complimentary breathable garment bag for all gown orders. Please keep your gown in this bag and out of direct sunlight and damp conditions before your wedding day to ensure safe keeping. For long term keeping/storage after your wedding, please discuss options with your dry-cleaner.
Shipping
Your order will be shipped to your location using the shipping details you have provided at check-out.
All orders will be processed and shipped within 2 weeks of the order date. Delivery timing is dependant on your location and depending upon customs entry into your country. Transit time from New Zealand averages 7 - 10 business days, however can be impacted by unforeseen delays (ie. weather events, etc).
Once your order has shipped, the Rue de Seine logistics team will provide you online tracking details directly to your email per your order details. Rue de Seine track our shipments door to door to ensure their safe arrival to you. As your parcel will require a signature on delivery, a business address or address where someone will be present to sign is requested. Your parcel may be returned to sender if multiple delivery attempts are made without someone available for signature on delivery.
Rue de Seine do not recommended ordering a gown if you have less than 4 weeks before your wedding date, and cannot be held responsible for any transit delays.
Customs Fees/Import Taxes
All orders are shipped from Rue de Seine HQ in New Zealand. Depending on the destination, your order may incur a customs or import duty charge. Rue De Seine does not have control over these charges and are unable to quote customs fees, as it is based on your own country’s regulations & compliances. For further information, please contact your local customs office. Customs fees and import taxes are not included in the cost of your order.
If fees are applicable to your shipment, you will be contacted via DHL/shipping provider with further instructions to process payment to receive your parcel. All charges are to be paid by the customer on delivery of order directly to the shipping provider. If you do not accept to pay these charges initially, your parcel may be abandoned or returned to sender. Rue de Seine is not responsible for abandoned parcels as a result of nonpayment of customs or import duty charges. If returned to sender, Rue de Seine can re-ship the parcel at the customer's expense.
